I worked in Italy for 2 months from April until June. It was good to see Milan, Venice, Aqualand, Jeslo, Murano and Burano. I have uploaded some photos of when I was there, enjoy.

Last weekend I went to Go Karting. It was amazing fun, I’ve never done this before and in the 1st heat I came 1st (started 2nd) out of 8 . Then in the finale/competitive group I came 4th out of 8th. I did start on pole in the final one, but I span it at the end of the first lap because of cold tyres (180o spin). Amazing fun though to fight my way back from 8th to 4th. They also included overall laptime and this made me 3rd. Here is a picture of me celebrating, I even got a small trophy (my first ever trophy!!).

drank 3 ltres of water, I had a special water flexible bottle in my
hiking bag with a pipe round to my mouth it worked wonderes.

I’m preparing for Snowdon this weekend, hoping to be better prepared this time and take more food =). I hope to do some real out door rock climbing, the indoor tower (15meter high) was good preparation and going to the tower again on wed. Really looking forward to it!! Hope to post pics when I get back!!
NYE was amazing, went up to see Lesley & Paul, then Dale, Will, Sarah, Dean and Charlotte came up to as well plus lots of random people. I really enjoyed it. Was great fun! Happy New year everyone and hope everyone had a great Xmas.
I’m also planning to go Wales to in early February for another hike/climb!!
A few weekends ago I climbed Snowdon and really enjoyed it with the climbing group at DMU I go with. It was a good experience because it meant I broke my fear of heights and also nice to see snow before everyone else!
I’m also going back up to Leeds today to Celebrate NYE with friends, it should be fun!!
After a successful graduation at De Montfort Hall on the 3rd of November I went to Leeds for a few days to see some friends I worked with in Holland. Had a really good time and went to a good bonfire night and also went to a night club that was formally a church! I have a job interview next week to work at a place locally so hopefully that will go well! I’m in the process of making a video of my time in Holland and hope to have it ready for Xmas..
I’m at home sweet home, it’s been a good three and a half months. Bit of a roller-coaster but good experience. Going to have a rest here for a while and decide which country I want to work in next . Already missing people from the camp site I worked at, but not missing the work!
Back home the Tuesday after next on the 13th of October. Can’t wait to see everyone. Flight has been booked, going on the 13th instead of 15th because more people are going home that day to. Be good to see you all!!
I went to Haarlam on Saturday, it was a nice place, I would upload some photos but photobucket is not working right. I’m still enjoying the job but looking forward to going home, only three weeks! Can’t wait .
